Clément Mouillard and Brice Lebel, aka Noroy, could well be making electro pop headlines in the coming months. After teasing their new project on social media, the two musicians posted, on Thursday 3 May, the video of a live session in which they appear with their live instruments on the rooftops of the Château de Caen. It gave us our first listen of “Thinking”, which has been officially available on all streaming platforms since Friday.
The two members of the band met at the age of 12, but it wasn’t until July 2017 that they decided to take the plunge into electronic music together. Raised on rock throughout their childhood, they found production was the best way to fuse their different musical influences. Multi-instrumentalists, singers and machine lovers all at once, they are just as comfortable in the studio as on stage, and they don’t hesitate to show off their live skills.
Watch the video of their live session, directed by Jeremie Levypon, one of the photographers and videomakers for Feder, Big Flo & Oli and Petit Biscuit
Catch them on stage on 5 July in Bernay for the “Scènes de l’Abbaye” and on 27 July at the Rives de l’Orne in Caen for “Caen en plage”.
