Alexis Badouet, aka XIXI, continues to shape his musical future at Wagram Music, the parent company of the Balagan Music label, which he has stayed loyal to for almost three years. With two successful EPs and prestigious collaborations with artists such as Kwesi and Benjamin Roustaing under his belt, the producer now invites us on a third musical journey between melodic techno and pop with “Silhouettes”.
Revealed bit by bit over the past few months, this five-track EP is the result of eight months of intensive work, as the artist has revealed. To give it the emotional richness that defines him, the French producer teamed up once again with his longtime friend Haisten on “Daymoon”. He also worked with singer Zembu on “Ends Meet”, and with Julie Trouvé on the EP’s opening track. “Silhouettes” is out now on all platforms.
