Formed in 2017, Sense quickly made a name for themselves in the upper reaches of electronic music, with a concept that is both original and innovative. As their name suggests, the trio drew inspiration from the five senses and are devoting an EP to each of them. While the first, “Esper” (Extra-Sensorial Perception), served as an introduction to the project by covering all five human senses, the second, “Taste”, was dedicated solely to the world of taste and its various particularities.
And to carry on the original idea, Sense has just presented “Resolution”, a third release in which they explore the sense of sight this time. In this new work, the word “resolution” takes on several meanings, echoing awareness, the way we look at ourselves and the world, but also visual and digital resolution. Themes the trio shared with Jenna Alexa, Owo, Noroy and Just Rosé. And when you listen to the seven tracks on this EP, you quickly realise that as well as opening our eyes to what surrounds us, Sense makes us want to open our ears wide with their broad palette of influences, swinging between Future Bass, Chillout, Pop and Lo-Fi.
