Formed by Nathan Darmon and Alexandre Coutaz, DUUO posted a photo on its Facebook page last June announcing its new signing to Casual Jam, the label of the famous YouTube channel MrRevillz. The single is now available on all platforms: it’s called “Reach You” and it was produced in collaboration with Rinah. The duo (no pun intended) spotted the young singer online through her classy covers, such as her take on Neiked. It’s a formula many producers use, and it very often turns out to be a winning one.
DUUO embodies the new generation of artists from the south of France, where deep house has become one of the go-to sounds. Riding high on the success of their previous track “You Know”, which now has more than a million streams, the two members are genuinely excited about the release of this second single:
“This track means a lot to us. It follows on from our previous track “You Know” and we are very proud to present it to all the people who have been following us since the start of this adventure.”
The group will play live at Le Mistral in Aix-en-Provence on 30 August, at an event in partnership with NRJ.
