After several years out of the spotlight, punctuated by a handful of rare releases since his album “Heaven” in 2020, The Avener is finally making his big comeback with the single “The Morning Sun”. This reinterpretation of a little-known song by Al Barry & The Cimarrons follows in the footsteps of his previous hits, deftly combining rock sounds, an enveloping bassline and new, highly addictive reggae touches. As he celebrates ten years in the business, The Avener seems more inspired than ever, ready to set club and festival stages alight throughout his summer tour.
As a prelude to the release of his third album, this promising single marks the start of a busy summer for the DJ from Nice. With more than twenty dates planned, The Avener will play the Poney Club in Toulouse on 26 June, the Green Festival in Avignon on 6 July and Plages Électroniques on 18 August, among others. A return to the spotlight that is excellent news for the artist’s fans.
