We still know little about how the band Supermassive came about, except that it is made up of François-Xavier and Edgar, two musicians from Montpellier. For this project, the two friends seem to be heading in an electro-rock direction, as shown by their first single “The One”, sung by Smogy. Released at the end of October, the track is signed (just like Darlin’s “Underwarter”, which we presented recently) to Big Top Amsterdam, the label founded by Bakermat.

Got to drop the affection
Got to get more attention
Need to clear my addiction
‘Cause baby you’re the one
You don’t need no protection
Maybe work on my diction
Is it real or is it fiction?
‘Cause baby you’re the one
It’s been a while since i’ve come around
I know it’s over, i know it’s done
But I don’t see what i’m doing wrong
I just know that girl
You’re the one for me
