One of the defining traits of French duo Weltmusik is its ability to reconcile the organic and the synthetic. Something it proves once again on its latest track “Tokai”, released on the Pavillonn label. A true ode to freedom, this deep house production, infused with ethnic chants, is made to carry our minds towards faraway lands. And as usual, the duo pays very close attention to its work on textures, as well as to the relevance of its melodies.
Since the release of its first EP “Island” in 2018, the duo has been ploughing its own furrow and showing an increasingly sharp musical identity. And while their single “Aksor”, released last year, was a real success, the two artists fully intend to introduce their project to a wider audience with “Tokai”.
