Tom York is a Parisian artist who already has a rich musical past, and today he is back in the spotlight with a new single called “Summer Rain”. Not to be confused with Thom Yorke, frontman of the famous band Radiohead, Tom York is first and foremost a songwriter, composer and electronic music producer whose signature is melodic, energetic EDM (Electronic Dance Music).
This first taste of his upcoming album is the result of careful work that marks a real break, because with this new track worthy of a “Summer Hit”, he is heading into a musical world we didn’t know him for: a more laid-back sound with a tropical house feel.
A punchy beat, an addictive melody: “Summer Rain” is clearly the track to listen to all summer long. The single has already reached the top 5 in sales in Greece and the top 30 in France in its release week. Tom York is riding a new wave, and it suits him rather well; we can’t wait to hear the rest of the album.
