While their first single “Discovery” had carried us off to the far reaches of the galaxies, the duo Pausé reveals, after two years of work, their very first EP, named “Expansion”. Shaped by the opportunities and the fast-growing buzz around their artistic project, this work marks, for Hadrien and Théophyle, two childhood friends from Rennes now based in Paris, the first steps of a timeless journey.
Finalists in the Versailles Live talent contest in 2021, then winners of the Nuits blondes and RIFFX contests, the duo took to the MainStage of Delta Festival in 2022, in front of more than 10,000 people. A crowning moment for the two artists, whose career took a real turn from then on. Somewhere between The Blaze, Fakear and French 79, Pausé then treated themselves, as the logical next step, to the EP they had dreamed of for so long.
A true intergalactic voyage, mixing electric guitar, percussion, metallic sounds and a cosmic atmosphere sprinkled with female vocal chops, this new release brings together no fewer than six tracks. Among them are the incredible “Discovery” and “Jump”, but also “Passenger” and “Momentum”, for an immersive trip among the stars. A unique signature that makes the duo one of the new breakout acts of the French electronic scene.
