If the producer has kept a rather low profile in recent months, it is because he became the father of a little girl last year. A chance for him to refocus on what matters and draw inspiration from his personal world. For his first track of the year, Namic makes a striking comeback with new influences drawing on Lost Frenquencies and Plastic Toy. The new single is called “Be Your Lover” and opens on a warm, hypnotic vocal loop alongside a few soft piano chords. The harmonious whole then flows into a chorus built on powerful arpeggiated synths. “Be Your Lover” gives off a laid-back atmosphere, one you can fully travel through despite the current times.
