As he gets ready to become a father for the second time, Belgian producer Namic sees his family as his greatest source of inspiration. A real strength that he also blends beautifully with influences from all four corners of the globe, before translating it all into music. That is how new gems like “Nagoya” come to life.
This new single, with its floaty, Japanese-inspired atmosphere, marks the launch of Rodmusic Records and also coincides with our media outlet’s 5th birthday. Built on a striking guitar melody, a futuristic beat and an airy vocal, “Nagoya” has everything it takes to leave no one indifferent. Discover it right now on all streaming platforms.
“I produced “Nagoya” during lockdown. At that time, travelling was difficult, even impossible. So I wanted to mix sounds from different cultures to try to bring that feeling of escape while staying at home”
“Ever since it started, Rodmusic has been a media outlet I follow regularly and fully support in its projects. It’s a must on the French-speaking electronic scene and I was really excited about the creation of their label. It’s a real honour to be the one to launch it.”
