While his cover of Lomepal’s “Trop Beau” keeps casting its spell around the world, producer Crisologo has left us eager to discover each of his new covers. After making rapper Hatik’s songs “Angela” and “La meilleure” his own, as well as “Doudou” by Aya Nakamura, the artist presented his very first cover of an international pop star last summer: Kylie Minogue.
Beyond his current residency at Bagatelle St. Barths, the DJ and producer clearly has new ambitions that stretch well beyond French borders. And to that end, he doesn’t hesitate to take on a second global hit, Lionel Richie’s “All Night Long”. Built around a minimalist, melancholic production that has become his trademark, Crisologo gives a whole new dimension to this timeless track, which turns 40 next year.
