We’ll admit it… we missed this release back in August. And yet we simply have to come back to it, because Cherokee’s Sampled Moods Vol. 2 deserves its place in your playlists. This new six-track EP unfolds a sunny, nostalgic atmosphere, perfect for stretching out the summer.
After making his name on Roche Musique in 2013 with Don’t Matter, the producer has always evolved as he pleased, building accomplished projects such as Sampled Moods, released in 2018. Seven years later, Cherokee returns with volume 2, more mature and still marked by the musical elegance that defines him.
Among the gems, “Between Sunsets” and “Believe in Yourself” with raph. marques, which we told you about a while ago, capture the full essence of the EP. With its sun-soaked groove, this project is bound to stay with you as a fond memory. Time slows down, emotions run deeper, and already, everything slips away… A work that is both intimate and universal.
With Sampled Moods Vol. 2, Cherokee continues his quest for musical sincerity, somewhere between warm groove and delicate melancholy. An EP to play without delay.
