Étienne de Crécy, a French Touch legend, returns with “Take It Back”, the first single from his eagerly awaited album Warm Up, due out on 14 March. The track shines a light on the essence of the early hours of a club night: those moments made for exploring and experimenting, when everything is still to be built.

With Take It Back, the producer perfectly captures the spirit of the “warm-up”, which he describes like this: “The warm-up is the moment when you can step away from efficiency at all costs. It’s a chance to explore, to suggest rather than impose.” Both groovy and airy, the track sets a light, enveloping mood, an ideal starting point for a memorable night.

Last November, the artist announced that Warm Up marked a turning point in his career, highlighting a phase of electronic nights that is far too often underrated. On social media, he has also teased the prestigious collaborations on the album: Caroline Rose, Olivia Merilahti, Kero Kero Bonito and many more. These names give a good idea of the project’s musical direction.

To celebrate the album’s release, Étienne de Crécy will play the Olympia on 16 April, where he will present Warm Up exclusively, while revisiting his classics with immersive stage design.
