On the Atlantic coast, between two tides and a few suspended notes, Romain Garcia delivers his debut album, EURÊKA!. A sunny, introspective and free project, dreamed up in his studio facing the ocean in Biscarrosse. More than just a culmination, it’s a breath of air, a moment of clarity where everything seems to fall into place.
Between airy house and melodic techno, EURÊKA! lays down the soundtrack of a summer that refuses to fade. It includes “Next To You”, “Used To” and “Regarder la nuit”, his collaboration with Pépite, where the duo’s delicate pop melts into light, sensitive electronic textures. The album also reveals striking new tracks, such as the title track or “Heya”, which first surprises with its vocal before sliding into sounds that capture the spirit of the record all on their own. Inspired by an afternoon in the dunes with his dog Spookie, the track embodies the carefree energy that runs through the whole album: something bright, instinctive, deeply human.
Riding on the success of “Cappadocia” (certified gold, 40 million-plus streams) and his sets on the biggest stages in the world, Romain Garcia establishes himself here as one of the most sincere and inspiring faces of the new French electronic wave. EURÊKA! marks a milestone, a transformation, a desire to get back to basics: creating memories that dance.
The world tour that accompanies this release, more than forty dates across Europe, Asia and the Americas, will stretch out that feeling of endless summer. With EURÊKA!, Romain Garcia proves that melancholy can be turned into a flash of light.
