While most artists work alone in their studios, or shut themselves away in remote corners of the globe in search of inspiration, many record labels are now happy to organise writing sessions to boost productivity and creativity. And the Get The Sound label has got the message: “Strength in numbers”.
Last December, it brought together 21 artists from its roster for an express writing camp in Paris. The goal? Produce 6 tracks in under 24 hours. A challenge met with flying colours by all the singers, songwriters and producers, who split up into groups.
Released as a mini album titled “Chapter One”, the record bringing together the 6 tracks is now available on all streaming platforms. Check out the tracklist and the artists right now:
