Two years ago, Flew landed Missing Out on OH2 Records, Oliver Heldens’ label (not the kind of house that signs at random). Since then, the Lyon producer has been moving fast and quietly: All Night Long, Don’t Worry, Better When You’re Here on Rodmusic Records, and that habit of filming his behind-the-scenes moments, which built him an audience before the big numbers even arrived.
What you forget when you listen to him is that before being a project, Flew is a sound engineer. And you can hear it: nothing is left to chance in the mix, even when the track aims for the gut rather than the head.
I Just Move, his new single, is his most upfront production to date. Punchy, bright electro that hits from the very first second, carried by a vocal that grabs hold and never lets go.
