Flyin’ Festival takes its final bow, last take-off on 8 and 9 August

Le Flyin’ Festival tire sa révérence, dernier décollage le 8 & 9 août

A collective of enthusiasts, an esplanade facing the Cordouan lighthouse, and four editions to establish itself as one of the sunniest electronic events on the Atlantic coast. Flyin’ Festival is closing its doors for the last time this summer. And it has chosen to go out in style. Flyin’ was born from a group of friends who…

Flyin’ was born from a group of friends who wanted to bring the spirit of the big European festivals to Royan. What started humbly on the Charente coast became, edition after edition, a low-key but solid summer fixture: a coherent house and electronic line-up, an exceptional site facing the ocean, and an unapologetically eco-friendly approach. The fourth edition will be the last.

For this grand finale, the team has brought together the artists closest to its heart. Étienne de Crécy (who played the very first edition with Braxe and DJ Falcon) returns to bring things full circle. Alongside him, Joris Delacroix and Irfane set the tone: organic deep house, sunny electronica. The rest of the bill follows the same line: Radio Cargo, Romain Garcia, Emma B, Augis, Victor Flash, Carla Mo, Melittah, Valentine Groove, EDD, DJ Football, DJ Petru, Secte Sound System and Thor’l. Not a single filler name. A selection built on convictions, not algorithms.

The setting remains the same: the Esplanade du Concié in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer, right by the water, with a direct view of the Cordouan lighthouse. Two days from 2pm to midnight, boarding pass in hand. Zero plastic, local sourcing, dry toilets: the festival has always taken the eco side seriously, and this final edition is no exception.

That is exactly what Flyin’ understood from the very beginning: an independent festival doesn’t need to be huge to get it right. Tickets will be limited. The box office is open at flyinclub.fr.
