Having very recently become a dad, Kungs is starting 2026 in a new light. The French producer continues to unveil his third album Out Loud, due on 13 March, with “Galaxy”, an ultra-groovy single shared with Theophilus London.
Written in New York during a songwriting session last June, the track fits into the elegant Italo disco aesthetic Kungs has been refining for several seasons: house grooves, disco shimmer, melodies that open onto the horizon. “Galaxy” doesn’t reinvent the formula, but it elevates it, recalling the instant energy of Never Going Home, Clap Your Hands and Substitution, while injecting a new, almost intimate warmth.
After “Light Me Up” (with PNAU) and “Nasty” (alongside Channel Tres), this new track confirms the direction of an album designed for clubbing, but shaped with the strong taste for partying that has defined the Nice-born producer’s path. He will be taking the new record on stage, notably at his first Zénith de Paris on 3 April, a symbolic milestone in his career.
