After a year marked by exceptional events, like the Olympic and Paralympic Games that set Paris buzzing this summer, the City of Light is getting ready to ring in 2025 in style. The Avenue des Champs-Élysées, cleared of cars for the occasion, becomes an open-air stage where music, visual art and pyrotechnics intertwine in a free evening open to all.
From 7pm, the festivities will kick off with the pre-show “Paris est une fête”, an immersive performance featuring a DJ set and a generative artwork, set to a soundtrack by Ena Eno and French 79. As the final countdown approaches, the Arc de Triomphe will come to life with a spectacular 3D video mapping tracing the many faces of the capital (creative, romantic, festive), staged by Jérémie Bellot and the AV-Extended studio.

The musical programme, which reflects the cultural diversity Paris holds dear, will also put the spotlight on Cerrone, an iconic figure of disco and electro, with a DJ set that promises to electrify the crowd. This moment will add to an evening punctuated by a mix of pop artists, choreographed performances and cabaret acts. At midnight, the traditional fireworks will light up the Paris sky, accompanied by a mix by DAAULIAC.
Much like the Olympics, which brought people together around universal values, this New Year’s Eve aims to combine celebration and togetherness. A moment suspended in time to celebrate Paris in all its splendour and open a new year full of hope and creativity.
