Nine years after their debut and already ranked among the most-streamed French artists in the world, Trinix reach a milestone with Origin. A world album in which electro draws on African, Brazilian and Caribbean roots to redefine the horizon. Ranked among the most-streamed French artists in the world in 2025, and…
Ranked among the most-streamed French artists in the world in 2025, with a 9th place that confirms their status, Trinix return with Origin, an album conceived as a journey across cultures. Twelve tracks, twelve stopovers, where electro converses with musical heritages from Africa, Brazil and the Caribbean. More than a record, Origin is a sonic postcard, an invitation to travel without leaving the floor.
Propelled by the worldwide success of Vaitimbora, which became a viral phenomenon and went diamond, Josh and Loïs show with this project that they aren’t content to ride a hit: they are shaping a vision. Oro lights up with Sofiane Pamart’s piano, Aje brings in Tayc and Nigerian artist Khaid around a reworking of Turn Me On, while Soutouro pays tribute to Senegalese griot Ablaye Cissoko. Each track acts as an encounter, a bridge between worlds.
Where many freeze electro within its codes, Trinix use it as a universal playground. Their complementarity (Loïs, classically trained, and Josh, raised on hip-hop and electro) creates a singular identity, sunny and unifying. With more than a billion cumulative streams and a loyal worldwide community, Origin feels like a pivotal step: that of artists who, from the top, still choose instinct, experimentation and openness.
An album that, behind its record-breaking numbers, above all expresses a conviction: music as a common language, able to transcend borders and bring crowds together.
