16 October marks a big milestone for AVBE. Last Friday, the independent artist released his debut EP, “Dawn”. A six-track project through which the songwriter, composer and producer lets his feelings and emotions speak, for a result that can only be unique. Built between France and the United States, this EP reflects months of work, inspiring travels and encounters. Among them Sam Hudgens, Sense, Calypso Valois, Sylvain Beuf, Isabelle Olivier and David Paycha, all invited to share in the project.
After two years of more synthetic productions, the artist uses this EP to explore a wider range of sounds, blending pop, folk and, as ever, that touch of electro he built his original signature on. The result is a harmonious mix of the gentle guitar loops of “Who I Am” and “Where I Go”, the warm synth pads of “Moon”, and his supple, warm voice running through it all. And to make the whole thing even tastier, AVBE called on Jesse Ray Ernster, a Grammy-nominated sound engineer who has worked with Kanye West, among others. Discover the full EP below.
