If the melodies in his productions feel so obvious and are now so firmly stuck in our heads, it’s because Lonely in the Rain has mastered the art of simplicity. And that is exactly where all the complexity lies. With his sublime guitar and synth loops, he has forged a musical identity all his own, one that wins over several hundred thousand listeners every month.
And after two years spent releasing more than twenty tracks, the artist feels the right moment to unveil his very first EP has finally arrived. He has just released “Falling into Sleep”, a very mature body of work bringing together three collaborations with hugely talented pop singers. We hear Joel Stewart on “Blue Light”, which is truly our favourite, Danish singer August Bager on “All From Me”, and also Mark O on “Dreamin”, who already featured on Lonely in the Rain’s very first track.
Lonely in the Rain – Falling into Sleep
A Deluxe version of the EP is expected on 10 February.
