Their names are Loris and Quentin, they come from the south of France and together they form the duo Angara. A stage name that refers to a Siberian river and its stunning landscape, which invites you to travel just like the music they produce. Friends for around ten years, it was only in 2015 that the two decided to work together on a first joint project. Coming from rather opposite musical backgrounds, the duo is now bound by a strong musical chemistry, which it shows off with top-flight productions.

Blending many influences, the duo asserts a unique musical identity, where soft melodies and catchy rhythms intertwine. Every track they produce feels like a real journey to the ends of the earth, with only one image in mind: a magnificent sunset and the ocean on the horizon. After releasing their first two EPs, “Kerala” and “Side Roads”, the latter including a track of the same name that got them noticed last year, the two members of Angara are currently working on a brand-new record. “Memory Lane”, their latest track, is the first single from it.

“Our music is a mix of genres and shades. We love the energetic, danceable atmosphere of clubs and festivals, but we also like to slow down and let our longing for faraway places take over. With our music, we try to create that feeling of being carried somewhere else. Our next EP will push this concept even further. See you in a few weeks to discover it.”

Already played tens of thousands of times on streaming platforms, the duo is causing a stir and still has some lovely surprises in store for us.
