This is the third time the Palace of Versailles has invited a French electronic music composer to produce a track inspired by its soundscape. From clockwork mechanisms to the gushing fountains of the gardens, by way of the tinkling of the palace chandeliers, each artist is given complete free rein in this place steeped in history. After Thylacine and Saycet, it is now Fakear’s turn to unveil the final result of piecing together his recordings. A true sonic gem, and also the perfect balance between the artist’s signature and the palace’s unique atmosphere, “Palace Of Time” takes us on an incredible royal ride, brought to the screen by Juliette Leigniel.
