Fakear delivers a new intimate, melancholic single. “Reste là” confirms an artistic path that has lost none of its sensitivity.
Reste là starts from an almost clumsy confession, which the Normandy-born artist summed up himself in a few words: an introvert’s declaration of love, from a quiet Norman who would like to say I love you but doesn’t really know how to go about it. The track thus becomes the exact reflection of what it describes. Fakear sings on it, a rare detail that doesn’t go unnoticed. The video, shot at Sacré 142, extends this intimate world. After Those Trees, Reste là confirms that an album is taking shape, and the Olympia on 9 October is already on the horizon.
