Exactly a year ago, electro pop duo The Ware, made up of Gaël Neus and Eddy Hammadi, caught the attention of the label 96 Musique, with which they signed their first track “So much”. After following up with “Nana Song”, a collaboration with Sherrie Sherrie and Nina, the band members take off with a third single called “High With You”. It is the result of a collaboration with Victor Soulisse, a producer from Aix-en-Provence who also featured on Kungs’ debut album.

“Victor was the one who got this project started. We’d been talking for several months, then we had the chance to meet up a few times and create High With You.”

The many musical references they have picked up in recent years through their solo projects (NEUS for Gaël and Emperia for Eddy) allow them to offer a production that is slightly different from their previous ones. Lighter and airier, it is a tasty blend of dance music and dreamy pop. Beyond the polished instrumental, the lyrics talk about love, escape and two people becoming one. They are sung by Jimmy Burney, a singer-songwriter nominated three times at the Grammy Awards.
