At last, the wait is over: Broken Back reveals his long-awaited fourth album, “Smile Again”, cementing his undisputed standing on the Electro Folk scene. Hailing from Saint-Malo, this essential artist draws us back into his unique musical world, where sunny indie-pop, nylon-string guitars and gentle melodies blend together. Inspired by his home town, this album is meant as a return to his roots, the promise of a more intimate and sincere connection. With 45 million streams even before its official release, and a grand kick-off thanks to the single “Away From Home”, “Smile Again” is shaping up to be one of the essential records of the year.
With a gold-certified debut album and an international reputation, Broken Back, nominated at the Victoires de la Musique in 2017, stays true to his DNA while still innovating. From “Shine” to “Time”, each track is a palette of emotions, reflecting both energy and serenity. With more than 500 million streams to his name, the artist confirms his status and invites his fans on an authentic, revitalising musical journey. Broken Back is undeniably back, ready to set the stage alight with a tour expected from this autumn. “Smile Again” is more than an album: it is a celebration of post-pandemic life and of happiness found again.
