It was deep in the Canadian cold that Ourson shut himself away for several days this winter to produce the work he had dreamed of for so long. After benefiting from the spotlight of the famous YouTube channel MrSuicideSheep and its 12.8 million subscribers, as well as great exposure on streaming platforms, the artist, whose world, somewhere between The Blaze and Lane 8, never stops fascinating, is finally presenting his very first EP, called “Places We’ve Never Been”.
Having opened this new chapter last 7 April with “The Same Game” featuring Meggo, then “Hurry Up We’re Dreaming”, a collaboration with singer Francies Skyes, Ourson is unveiling the rest of this long-awaited record this July. Two more tracks complete the EP, including a second collaboration with Meggo, a member of the Canadian indie pop band Fleece. The EP’s focus track, “Places We’ve Never Been” is a concentrate of emotion in which the Canadian singer’s voice and the producer’s brand-new synths make us completely lose control of our minds.
