Petit Biscuit is finally back! After an absence of almost three years since the release of his album “Parachute”, the artist makes a big return to the spotlight. While in the meantime he developed a new addiction to sport, which led to a remarkable physical transformation, it was with great excitement that he got back on stage on 10 June, with a grand show in Rouen, his home town.

After an endless four-year wait without a concert, the event also marked the start of a brand-new summer tour, and the approaching arrival of his third studio album. And to ease the impatience of his loyal fans, on Thursday 6 July Petit Biscuit decided to reveal not one but two tracks at once.

Called “You Don’t Ignore (Too Late)”, the first track feels like a logical continuation of the artistic shift that began with tracks such as “Drivin Thru the Night”. It offers a tasty blend of more RnB/funk sounds and a voice, which is none other than Petit Biscuit’s own, bringing a more electronic touch to his distinctive style.

“You Don’t Ignore (Too Late)” is a burst of colour and warmth. I love its simplicity, but it’s very different from what I’ve done before. I’ve always wanted to bring a kind of RnB/funk vibe to some of my songs. Finding my vocal style was ultimately the key to finding that sound. I had a lot of fun writing and singing the melody.

The second track, “Honor Your Goals”, is a gentle piano and vocal ballad, with a few synths of course, on which Petit Biscuit delivers a more personal performance. With these two new tracks, the singer-producer shows once again his ability to reinvent himself and sharpen his style as he pleases. His third studio album promises strong emotions and we can’t wait to hear it.
